Hali Trip May 2010
So we all went on a roadie to Halifax on the weekend of May 1st.
My car blew a tire in Whycocomagh, and I didn't want to bail out on this trip, so I said fuck it and threw my dummy tire on and kept truckin er'. We stopped in New Glasgow and picked up Zander and had a pretty bomb trip. Lots of skating and filming and some sick lines at Dal and a few of us met up with some Local Halifax homies and hit up an 8 set at Dal and some shit went down fo sho. We also hit up the new Spryfield skatepark, which is such a sick park, check out the monty I posted above to see some dope clips of Spryfield and if you get the chance to ever hit it up, don't hesitate. Oh, and if you're ever around Allen during bed time, sleep with one eye open, cuz' you might catch a full moon.

Catchy little tune for the intro... By Static in Action. Featuring local legend Harry Doyle

April 2010 Throwaway !!!
April 2010 Throw away from Ryan Boutilier on Vimeo.
Alright so it's only the middle of April and I've been doing a lot of filming lately and I've recently gotten my hands on a new MK1 fisheye. I bought it off a guy named Kurtis Filippone. If you don't find that name farmiliar, it is the guy who filmed/edited the Canadian skate video "Strange Brew". If you haven't seen it yet, ya should check it out, it's pretty sick or take a stop by the NS shop and ask Rob or Shane to throw it on and take a peek at it. So anyway I threw together this beefy early season montage already! and the +20 weather has suddenly vanished and it's snowing now. If anyone wants to go filming or have any fresh ideas in mind hit me up on facebook or something and I'll more than likely be down. Later!

Coastal Update
So much going on with this and the skate scene, I figured a update to let everyone know what is up is pretty over-due.
First and foremost, Coastal is looking to have a release date of Sept 21st, the last day of summer, with a premiere at empire & a hell of a after party for those 19+.
The roster for full parts has been bumped up to somewhere around 10 with a few party parts. The line up for the video will be dropped when the next trailer is released in the near future. Some changes to the OA skate team will also be announced at this time to.
More big news, we joined forces with Mark Hennessy OG cape breton filmer with a treo of videos under his belt & Matthew IngrahamFilmer of Playground and Owner of MI productions has also offered up his lens work to us! This bumps our filmer / camera roster up into some heavy numbers and this is with out a doubt going to be the most legit skate video to come from a crew of cape bretoners!
We are also shooting for a legal, all local sound track, we have a lot of the music already lined up but if your in a band or produce music and want to be a part of this drop us a line at ohehprod@olliearound.ca.
